Setting or location
Slap

In Slap, they use on-location sets, which mean the actually film in the house or street or hall. They do this in order to create a sense of realism. For example, in the first picture of slap, they are using a real house, to create a sense of security and safety as if it is a place that he can just hide himself away.

In the second shot from Slap, they use the on-location setting of a street to create a feeling and sense of confidents, pride and power as it is very open and a typical place to notice and see many people, unlike the house which is very enclosed and shut away.
