Setting and location
Setting or location
Slap
In Slap, they use on-location sets, which mean the actually film in the
house or street or hall. They do this in order to create a sense of realism.
For example, in the first picture of slap, they are using a real house, to
create a sense of security and safety as if it is a place that he can just hide
himself away.
Tight Jeans also use on-location shots to create a sense of realism in
the film, this shot of them sat on the wall, implies a scene of power and
authority. It’s very open and has a ‘real life’ building to enhance the realism
