All of the the short films uses a range of minor elements including Mise en Scene, cinematography, performance, sound and vocal delivery. These elements portray the genre and overarching themes that the direct intends to present to the audience. Each director use the same element to create contrasting effects, but also use different element to create the same effect.
For example, one may use vocal delivery to present the theme and emotion of anger and conflict whereas another might use performance to create this emotion. Similarly, the vocal delivery can be interpreted to foreground excitement if portrayed correctly or of fear or curiosity.
